Re: rutgers
I know the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan, etc. have done similar "make-overs" but those are top flight programs. While Rutgers has improved over the past 3-4 years, they are not a top program. Amazing that they can still dump $150 million into renovations.

Re: rutgers
Rutgers has a lot of private money as well. My mom called me the year before last to say that campus was CLOSED on a work/school day because people were camping out overnight just to try and get a ticket.
Years before, Rutgers couldn't give a ticket away.
We aren't far from that scenario…
And yes, Rutgers Stadium is awful. Definitely needs a serious makeover.

Ahhh Rutgers. The place that pays the bills for my mom's life, and my sisters, and my niece.

We're a Ray Rice away and a better conference away in my opinion… that's pretty substantial, but agree its not too far off the map for us.

We had our Ray Rice….. Anthony Crissinger-Hill. By far the best tightend in the nation THAT YEAR.
I think Kellen Winslow was a senior at UM that year….I will take 2nd best.

One big difference.
Ray Rice wasn't on the weed. At least not that we know about.
