Pretty decent article, too bad no pics or at least artist renderings.
I linked to some in the first post of this thread. Take a look.
I checked out the construction when I was there for the Spring Game. It's going to be nice. 70 people… wow.
The fact that they'll be open til 4 am is great. We'll see how long that lasts though… wouldn't be surprised if they scaled it back to 2 am.
There used to be a Subway in the gas station across Glades by CVS. We used to leave UVA and run over there late at night… not sure why but they converted into some other, similar sub-style place. Maybe they just didn't want to pay the franchising fee, who knows.
For Innovation Village, what I'd most like to see is a Panera Bread, a Steak'n'shake, and… well, there was a guy who wants to bring Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffee & Smoothies "to a fixed retail location at a university near the Delray Beach area." That would be a decent mix I suppose… breakfast/brunch, dinner, dessert/coffee.

I agree with the sentiments here on Steak 'n Shake - would do great! Decent meals at a decent price and shames Mickey D's in quality and taste.
Yup.
Before Steak and Shake came down here the closest one was in Vero Beach for a long time. My family (Parents and my own) love it so much we would make a monthly trip up there just to eat. Once they moved into Delray and Coconut Creek my waistline has suffered greatly.
Nothing like a Steak Double with Cheese/Bacon. Side of fries and Chili and an orange freeze to wash it all down.
It would kill on a college campus.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

I have never been drunk and wanted subway unless they start frying the subs it just doe not sound like after bar food.
It's not your typical craving, I agree, but it was across the street within stumbling distance. I preffered buffalo chicken strips myself, but Subway did fill in when I was out. I stopped there pretty often after work too.
FAU - We got Bowls!
