Stare at the logo in the center, it starts to move.  I think that would distract the opposing teams and we would eventually have the longest home winning streak in the country.

I think somebody mentioned in another thread that the NCAA will not allow any color field other than green. Boise State's blue field was grandfathered in since they had blue turf before the rule was made. That should put an end to this discussion.

I tried to find if that was true or not because that is what I understood as the rule, but wasn't able to find it in the rule book.  The Bronco Stadium wikipedia page claims its a myth that NCAA has banned all turf colors but green.

I have read that fields with playing surfaces other than green are not permitted by the NCAA. I also read that birds dive-bombed to their deaths on the Bronco field.

Thanks for that psychedelic field design. I now have a migraine! :(

Sorry about the headache.. You should have tried working with the image in photoshop.  My brain was swimming…lol

I think the white endzones with blue lettering would make the field unique. Not too many teams do that. Most either do just the lettering in school colors or they have the endzone a school color and make the lettering white or some other school color. White endzones look pretty good though. I also like that Florida is on one side and Atlantic on the other. It looks sharp. The other question is do you put the owl head logo or the winged FAU at the 50 yard line? I prefer the winged FAU.

The Owl Head is easier to see when the camera backs up for kickoffs, etc

But I'm sure Athletics will go with the winged logo.

The FAU Athletics webpage is almost exclusively the owl head, I think that it is becoming the more recognizable as well as more used logo (plus I like the head better).

I agree, the logo you have as your avatar is definitely my favorite of the two. I don't mind the winged logo but I like the owl face better
