I've never been a fan of playing the Shula Bowl during Thanksgiving weekend. We did it in 2013, which was the most galvanizing year in modern FAU football history, and the attendance was ABYSMAL.

CUSA championship attendance last year was abysmal.

If FIU is our rival, the game should be that weekend IMO.

Because if he did I wouldn't be able to joke with you by saying Kendal Briles would have scheduled the game better.

I don’t mind the low attendance tbh. Traffic is easy in and out and it gives me that small college tight knit feel which I think is pretty cool

It's ok, we all love OC. I'm sorry by the way. I saw on ESPN that Todd Mcshay has Riles as being a mid round pick.

Last year we had put best Shula attendance ever not in that weekend. Why move it to a weekend where 75 percent of the student go home?

If the game was at our place this Saturday there would hardly be anybody there.  Would be less than 10k.

Just put the game where it belongs.

I'm seriously thinking about it since I have nothing else going on. One hour and ten minutes to FIU from my house. The only negative is it is a 730 start and it is FIU. I don't want them to spray paint my vehicle.

Why would that happen ?
