First thing, the burrow podcast needs to be more honest and stop making other teams seem inferior.  This was not an easy game like they

One guy, who is color, not "they". The host said the opposite - entirely.

Besides that you have to have contrasting points of view - watch ESPN often??

After MSU the Army game was winnable, at home, Army in ALL BLACK.

BUT then the real game was played and we looked BAD! And= sports world now mocking us for not only the bad game, looking TOTALLY unprepared, AND THE EMPTY STADIUM!!!!!

The entire day was a disaster and Mr. White with his new contract had better lay down the law on Coach Herman AND the Staff AND the decision to play at noon, which I assume would be HIMSELF!! I was a pathetic crowd with a team like Army in the house.

he SEASON (and several JOBS I would think) is on the line vs. FIU.

Sorry for the negativity but hard to be happy about the program presently but I WILL finish with - GO OWLS!

Television decision due to conference contract, had nothing to do with FAU.

Gotta take a look at Charlie Frye. Another season of boring, predictable, clock-eating plays that get us nowhere. And need to get that O-line figured out.

Furthermore, Cam seems to be really inaccurate. I'd like to see us give Starks a chance.

I'm really shocked at how bad the offense is, considering Tom Herman was one of the most highly regarded offensive minds just a few years ago.

Honestly we're in a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, and for the first time since the Charlie Partridge days, we're concerned about losing to AAC-reject FIU. We've GOT to do something ASAP. This offense looks lost and confused while the defense is getting exhausted from being on the field so much.

I figured that Rick but then Mr. Whites needs to emphasize, using THIS game as an example why this time DOES NOT WORK. THAT crowd on TV should embarrass THEM TOO!

The attendance for the HOME OPENER, of all games, was absolutely pitiful

The attendance was not bad. I have a picture and I easily could say there were over 10k people in the stands under the extreme temperatures. We could easily be the school down south with 1k fans in the stands, that's why I don't complain.

I definitely see the high temperatures playing a significant role in minimizing the turnout FAU could've had against Army.

It's just frustrating to see the home opener against Army not have half of the stadium full (lower bowl, at least), when we witnessed better turnouts for Monmouth and Tulsa last year. Those two games did happen in the evening though; so when it comes to the daytime games, FAU needs to find a middle ground for the best time possible, especially when high temperatures are involved (depends on their televised broadcasts, of course).

Tickets sold vs people in the stands were dramatically different probable due to high temperatures.
Hey, it’s South Florida and lots of other things to do in the heat.
That will never change.

FIU will come to Boca Saturday with the most confidence they’ve had in probably the last decade. Coming off a 52 point drumming of Central Michigan, they’re going to be ready and prepared.

Hopefully the mix of a local rival + a 6PM kickoff will fill the stadium up a tad more and get a great game day atmosphere.
