Post

Last encounter agains FIU had a good turn out and it was mainly FAU fans.
For the first time in 10 years I am concerned about the result.
As of today, Fancher has not shown anything promising. I hope he can pull a "posey" this saturday.

I’ll be at the game but expecting a loss. Team has shown me absolutely nothing to think otherwise. 17 points in 8 quarters of football what the hell are we doing?

Oh i’m absolutely expecting a loss until I am proven otherwise. This offense and QB play is among the worst in FBS currently. Just the unfortunate truth so far.

They haven't played near the competition we have, comparison is no where near close. Indiana is not Michigan State and CMU can't hold a candle to Army - as folks will see over time. They both could very well end up being Top 25 teams. I'll bookmark this post (just in case)  :Smug:

FAU is a 7 point favorite.
Based on what?
FIU put up 50+ points on a MAC Conference team on Saturday.
And don’t tell me we have better athletes, they will give us all we can handle.
After losing 4 straight games to end the 2023 season, I am not sure why anyone would think we would be anything but 0-2 against MSU and Army.
The season starts on Saturday against FIU.
GO OWLS.

CMU had 6 turnovers and 10 penalties.

CMU actually out gained FIU.

When fall roster came out I had a "Major League" moment "Who are these guys?"

That was so sad because I try to follow the Owls and am so grateful for this site! Y'all do a great job!

And THAT is why I myself was so shocked by my reaction to the roster. The SEASON depends on this game even though it is a non-conference game now. We lose this or even get blown out by FIU at home, well…..

I saw that. CMU had 6 turnovers. 5 int and 1 fumble. One of the int was returned for a touchdown. As someone mentioned previously, CMU out gained FIU in total yardage. I didn’t watch the game but it sort of horrifically reminds me of our 52-6 loss against FIU where we threw so many int.

One thing I was pleased with last week’s game against Army was the lack of penalties.

Zuberi is definitely appreciated here by the fans and by the coaching staff.
I think this was CJ’s final audition and we will see a lot more of Zuberi going forward.
RB1 is an earned position and not inherited.
Now let’s get on to Zuberi.

As I said above, Zuberi is appreciated very much to the tune of the team leading 20 carries, 134 yards and 3 TD vs FIU.
He showed that he certainly is a number one RB along with CJ Campbell in the backfield.
