Earlier today there was A Sun Sentinel article that the game could be played down here. Now hearing the LSU game will be in Missouri means there’s a good chance it’ll be down here. That’s exciting to get another home game to go to if it happens, especially against a Southern Miss team that looked good last week.

I agree on the timeline. Fisrt the decision needs to be to relocate.  Then a half a day to figure out logistics.  They will know if it is possible by tomorrow.

Per St.Louis Dispatch the game, the LSU game has been moved to Missouri.

There is really only two options for us:

Play Thursday- as the coast will start feeling some bands starting Friday afternoon.

Or move it here.

If we do move it here, let's hope we were white and force them to wear black in some Florida heat.

I think the Thursday turnaround would be extremely tough logistically. I don’t think it’s impossible, but I think it’d be very, very hard. 

Forget the TV part, that’s small in the grand scheme of the logistics. (I don’t know if Stadium has its production crews travel or if they hire local people to run the truck and cameras.)

Thursday is getting a team on a flight on very, very short notice and probably sending them back that night? Plus officials if they’re not already there. 

But it’s 2020, so anything about what would make sense normally is in the dumpster. And FAU has the bye, so maybe it evens out rest-wise?

I am fine with Thursday night showdown if it’s logistical and safe for all parties. 

Moving locations seems easier then moving it to Thursday. I have a gut feeling that the game will be cancelled. The 2020 syndrome

Yup.  Very CUSA'ish.  Lets wait until its too late to make any productive decisions.  

I think if the game gets played and we win we will be tied for the longest winning streak in the country at 9. I think Air Force is off this week.

The way it seems looking at forecasted winds for Hattiesburg, there will not be an issue with playing to game…

It would be great to win and get the nation’s longest win streak.  A couple years ago we had a 10 game home winning streak and never trailed any game. That was really nice.
