I'm farely certain we can win. The only thing that can prevent win is the vitus. The canes are having a real bad stretch of testing. Let's try our best .Posted On: Nov 17th 2020, 4:57 AM #397829
Notice how many games were canceled last week?
Many of these schools dealing with a lot of positive tests 7-14 days after Halloween.
No matter who the coach is or how "discipline'' your program is, 18-22 years olds not on full 24 hours supervision are going to do 18-22 year old things.
FAU has done a good job lately, but there is not a single program above this.
It also helps FAU we are playing well. It is easier to keep teams motivated when winning.
Just imagine you're a back up player in a 2-4 team right now and 10 weeks and into not really going out etc.
Those players are much less likely to do what they need to do to keep things going.

I’m not comparing us to them. But we could maybe win running as much as we have with Posey. To do that I would think you’d need an amazing defense and we do. Our offensive line is great.
Our defensive line coach Kevin Patrick was a defensive end on the Hurricanes of course. In 1991 they won the national championship and allowed only 100 points. No team has allowed that few points since and only 1 team Alabama last decade allowed fewer points per game. They had to shut out LSU in the title game to do that. That 1991 Miami team that Patrick starred on is the last team ever to allow less than 10 touchdowns, they allowed 9. Ok, I might have gone to most of their home games that year.

So FAU is down to two or three active QBs, depending on what the plan is with Bus…AKA Willie Taggart Jr.
The fun never stops.

What was the story on Young? I thought he looked pretty good out there.
