Bleacher Report: 50 Worst Draft Picks in NFL History
"Archie Griffin might have been the most-heralded college football player in history when he entered the 1976 NFL draft. The Ohio native won two Heisman Trophies with Ohio State and become one of the state's "favorite sons." It only made sense for the Cincinnati Bengals to draft him following that stellar collegiate career.
They should have realized that something was wrong when Griffin fell to them at the 24th overall pick of the draft. He just didn't have the size or strength to play at the next level.
Griffin ended up playing seven seasons for the Bengals, never tallying 700 yards in any one season."
