Unfortunately Lestar didn't do well in the combine. He still has his pro day workout but scouts will look more at combine than Pro day. He was on 640AM this afternoon with the Big O. He said he got an invite to the Dolphins workout camp. As we've seen from years past with other Owls this doesn't really mean anything. He said he's spoken to a lot of teams but not sure if he'll get drafted.

As for JVC I'd say there's a 20% chance he'll get drafted, so not very likely

Housler has been turning in the fastest 40 times on the team since 2007...

Never realized he was faster than any of our wide-outs.

Further make me wonder why, since other than Jean our wr's were awful to non-existent this year, why did we not play him at the other wr and use Williams and Nixon at the TE spot. With Housler's size, no corner could have covered him, especially in the red zone.  I supported this move all year, after all it is pretty damn bad to have the no. 2 wr averaging less than 10 yards per catch while the TE is over 16! Kind of backwards huh?

Imagine his effect and how that would have then opened up the other side for Jean!
