After falling behind 28-7, East Carolina fought back to make a game of it, almost taking the lead until an interception thwarted matters.
Cajun signal caller Terrance Broadway passed for 316 yards and one score, and rushed for for 108 yards and one score as well.
The Pirates were penalty free in the loss.
ULL's Jamal Robinson caught six passes for 116 yards to lead all receivers, and kicker Brett Baer went 3-of-3 in FG's with a long of 50 yards.

A late FG lifts the Broncos to their third Las Vegas Bowl triumph.
Bishop Sankey romped for 279 of the Huskies 447 yard total output, earning him MVP despite the loss.

The first quarter saw a pair of bagels in scoring, but Southern Methodist erased that pattern by posting 22 points in the second.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they couldn't scrape together a lick of yardage on the ground (-16), and surrendered two INT's for scores.

Caught the last five minutes of this game. WKU was driving pretty well and while there was a bit of bobbling the ball, it sure looked like they were going to get the TD.

Spartans QB David Fales was on fire, throwing for 395 yards (33-of-43) and 2TD in the contest that was supposed to pit Army against an ACC opponent; although neither could fit the bill.
The Falcons led 20-19 in the fourth, but saw SJSU close with a FG and a one yard score on the ground by De'Leon Eskridge.
That notched the Spartans first 11 mark since 1940.

Trailing by a score with hopes of tying it up, a costly Blue Devil turnover with 1:20 remaining gives the Bearcats the ball and a chance to score a late TD themselves.
They did.
Despite the loss, Cincinnati still posted its fifth 10 win effort in the last six seasons.

This one was over at the break, as the Bruins were forced to be one dimensional with the pass.
The Tandem of Glasco Martin and Lache Seastrunk rushed for a combined 236 yards and four TD's for the Bears.
