…and then the Mountain West calls and it's over. 

FIU may not have the facilities or fanbase yet but they definitely have the Miami market and nearly 48k students. So it's not entirely crazy.

Even if we were on the Big East's radar if I'm FAU I'd laugh in their face. Why would I want to go to a dying conference with no TV deal after this season? The Big East will fold because SD State and either SMU or Houston are going to the Mtn West and Cincinnati can't get out fast enough.

As much as it sucks for USF fans I can see UCF getting an invite to a bigger conference. Better TV market and much larger student population. Isn't UCF like 2nd or 3rd in terms of amount of students?

Conference USA is a safer bet at this point as weird as that sounds. They're more stable
