FAU 40.0% FG, 41.0% 3PT
Terps 49.1% FG, 35.0% 3PT
Pablo Bertone finishes with 21 points after scoring only 5 points in the first half.
Marquan Botley posted a career high 18 points and Kelvin Penn hauled in a game high 11 boards.
Owls lost the glass 40-33, but continue to improve at the stripe (81.8%).
I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

Also: Botley hits a 3 with around a little under 4 minutes left & Jarvis calls a timeout? It was not a media timeout, Jarvis called a timeout. Does he hate momentum in our favor? I just do not get it.
Hell of a game by Pablo, fighting through double teams the whole game. But all too often does Raffington draw double teams down low with someone wide open for 3, and Raffington squanders the possession by traveling.
We have open people for three so often & just seem to never find them.
Kelvin played real well on both ends of the floor.
Dandre played very well on offense, aside from a few silly passes. Then on defense he commits silly, silly fouls.
All-in-all, good job by our Owls. We looked good & could have easily won this game. It hurts, but the win would not have mattered much anyway, it serves to make us more hungry in conference play where it really matters.
Good guard play by the freshman duo PGs, great game by Pablo, Trapp & Javy had horribly off shooting nights that should not happen too often in the future, and the forwards/center played well in Raffington & Penn. Oh, and this was all without Dragan who was injured & had been playing very well of late.
Good things on the horizon for this team. Well, maybe not good things, but at least our team is very entertainging now!

Trapp finished 1-14….. 0-6 from beyond the arc. Anything better & we win this game.
