The Owls have come alive on offense and with tight defense! 60-46 FAU, with 9:10 to play.

Poole had a layup and three-pointer in that FAU rally. he has 15 points now.

But Stetson continues to rally, drawing within 10 again at 60-50.

But then Raffington comes alive with a three to put the Owls back up by 13 with 7:15 to play.

The Hatters hit a two and will shoot a FT after the media time-out. 63-53, FAU leads.

Botley has missed a couple of threes and Stetson is suddenly within 7 points, at 65-58. FAU's offensive play of sloppy.

The small Hatters contingent here is now making as much noise as all the FAU fans.

With 3:44 to play, Stetson has the ball with a 7-point deficit.

Make that 5 points.

But Poole drops in two for FAU and the owls get the ball right back with a 7 point lead. Poole now has 17 points, the high scorer.

Oops, make that 20 points off the bench. Poole just hit for three and the Owls lead 70-60 with 2:08 to play.

Poole misses a wild shot, but Raffington is there to jam it in. Owls lead 72-64 at the media time-out with 1:13 to play.

Raffington gets a big rebound off a Trapp missed FT. Botley is then fouled and hits both. Owas now lead 74-64 with 1:05 to play.

With :51 tonplay, Stetson is now fouling. Botley missed and the Hatters have some life left.

FAU let Stetson stay in this game too long by missing FTs, but the Hatters couldn't connect either. After a couple of Poole FTs, the Owls have finally all but ended it, 79-69. :10 to play.

New Owl Solomon Poole could not have started play at a better time. He led all scorers with 23 points, off the bench.
