Botley with early heroics puts FAU ahead 30-29. Night and day performance from the Owls so far. Poole leads the team with 10 points, Botley and Masssey both have 5. Penn has been great on the glass with 8 rebounds, 2 offensive.

Owls closed the half making their last 6 shots which greatly boosted their shooting percentage to 47%. ODU is shooting 50% from the field but have lived off points off turnovers with 8.

So far Curry has elected to play with a short bench as only 8 Owls saw the court with Lacunza making a cameo towards then end of the half. Hopefully those 12 days off prior to these last two games pay dividends for the Owls legs tonight.

ODU doing a majority of their scoring in the paint with 18 compared to FAU's 10. If the Owls can keep Freeman from penetrating the lanes, gotta like their chance to pull of the shocker here.

What's really helped FAU tonight is none of the big men have been in foul trouble as Penn is the only big man with one foul.

Of course as soon as I mention fouls, FAU records 2 in less than a minute.
