Total collapse. Definitely frustrating.

Mike Forrest led FAU with 16 points, 7 of which came from the charity stripe.

I'm a huge believer in the process, but that lack of a true go-to shooter bites. Five games in, and we've had a different top scorer in every game.

It'll be tough to sit on this loss for over a week….

What to say?#FAU races to dominate #FGCU. Then the Eagles outpace the Owls 46-27 since the 12:09 mark of the second half.

Missed free throws + too many turnovers = heartbreak.

We KNOW this team has talent and has LOADS of promise. Just sucks to sit on this for 9 days.

I hope this team gets better or it’s going to be a long season. 

That was pathetic.  Watching that second half sucked out all my hope this was going to be a good year.

And FGCU is NOT GOOD! Coach M should have considered making 'em walk back to Boca!

Guard play was pretty bad. You can't turn the ball over 20+ times on the road and then the free throw shooting was painful. I didn't think the team was going to be amazing but that was painful. 19pt lead in college you should pretty much just run out the clock.

Those in the know were very high on this team.  Not sure what is going on; we have beaten only Flagler and Palm Beach Atlantic, and lost to a really bad FGCU.  One issue is the lack of a reliable scorer.  Ingram is still on the mend and is nowhere close to what he used to be.  Hopefully it is just a matter of time.  

FGCU was 0-4 before this game. This was their 1st win. They are an A-Sun team.

I still think we should got back to the A-Sun and be a football only American Athletic Conference team.
