BTW, Jailyn Ingram's 19 points tonight is his highest since knocking down 22 vs. Mercer on December 5th of last year. The game before his season-ending ACL injury at Arkansas State.

Couple of statistical notables from today's contest, via SID Justin Johnson:

Jailyn Ingram’s game-high 19 points were the most for him since scoring 22 against Mercer on Dec. 5, 2018.

FAU shot 53.8 percent from the floor, tying their best performance under Coach Dusty May.

The seven turnovers committed by the Owls today were the fewest under May.

Side notes (from me):

The experimentation portion of the schedule seems to be over, and would expect that the participation minutes will begin to be more consistent for a core group of "regular" players.

Coach May could make adjustments given an opponent's offensive or defensive strengths, but we are starting to see who the 8-10 players will be game-in and game-out.

Our top four 3PT shooters are averaging 42% collectively as this point in the schedule, and those who are not will not be taking shots from here out in all likelihood. This is a BIG deal as we enter C-USA play January 2nd.

After a somber start in some regards, am liking our chances more and more of making some noise in the league.
