I agree with you Local Owl with the exception that the above disease we thought to be eliminated in the 60's & now with unfounded fear by some parents of giving the children vaccines all those diseases are making a come back.

More than 200,000 people are hospitalized each year in the United States for the flu illness and its complications and between 3,000 and 49,000 THATS A WIDE RANGE OF IFS) people die each year from the flu. The number of flu deaths every year varies.
It tells me nothing about age and if those who died had their flu vaccines.
