Keyshawn Greene entered the portal yesterday.

This was coming as he was only at a couple of spring practices. Before leaving campus.

The issues that were at Nebraska came with him here.

This is were having a 25 man per year cap hurts.

There is 100’s if other transfers that could have taken his spot.

There is a way FAU can appeal with the NCAA for that “counter” back but as I have been told, “it’s a long shot.”

This won’t hurt FAU this year as we are loaded at LB.

Best of luck to him. Another high-profile transfer that doesn't see the field. It seems like every for every four blue-chip recruits that end up on our roster only one plays meaningful minutes.

I would say it is closer to half, there are many high school kids who do not work out just does not grab the headlines as the transfers.

FAU has to take some chances to get another level of talent.

Now most of our transfers this year did not leave due to issues and should work out fine.

I have no problem with a high schooler that de  commits  for a better offer.  But a kid that goes thru the effort to transfer, only to bolt weeks later. This may be a blessing.
