The FAU Baseball team starts their conference season undefeated, sweeping the Marshall Thundering Herd in a four-game set. With Jared DeSantolo continuing his hot streak and the rest of the team following suit, the Owls will be a force to be reckoned with in C-USA play.

The Rundown

• Following his walk-off hit last night, DH Jared DeSantolo has been continuing to swing the bat with confidence. He finished the game 2-4 with 2 RBIs and a home run.
• 1B Nolan Schanuel has been the Owls' star hitter throughout this season. He hit 2-3 with 4 RBIs and a home run today, bringing up his team-leading totals to 33 RBIs and six home runs.
• SP Javi Rivera has gotten his mojo back. He pitched 5.2 innings. allowed just two earned runs and four hits, striking out five batters.
• RP Jack Stroud had a dominant ninth-inning appearance, closing out the game by striking out two of the three batters he faced.
• 3B B.J. Murray quietly had a great game. He went 2-3 with 1 RBI, 3 runs, and two walks.

The Owls will be back in action on Tuesday, March 30, as they head to Fort Myers to face off against Florida Gulf Coast. First pitch will be at 6:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on FGCU's YouTube channel.
