Tough luck yet again for the Owls, who see a 4-3 lead slip away down the stretch of the final two Golden Eagle turns at bat.

Nolan Schanuel had a solid day at the plate, with a three run homer, a double, a single, and a walk.

Starting pitcher Tibur Rivero went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits.

Rincones accounted for the Owls other RBI, but also struck out three times on the afternoon. As a team the Owls were fanned 14 times.

They also stranded 12 runners on the base paths.

FAU will try and salvage a win in game three tomorrow at 11:30 AM EST.
