GAME CAPSULE: FAU @ UTEP - October 22, 2022

I think a lot of people put far too much faith in QB Perry.
Fans seemed worried about who will be the QB next year, when in reality we really did not have much this year.
Whoever the QB is next year will be the start of something better for the future.
Miami Hurricanes were not interested in keeping Perry and we are understanding more and more why.

Because Taggart put his faith in Perry it’s gonna ultimately end up costing him his job. It was the wrong decision with how bad Perry finished last year we didn’t bring in a transfer QB to compete with him. We are seeing the results of that decision now.

We did, Michael Johnson, Jr. Unfortunately he has been hurt the entire time practically. One thing after another - literally.

With the running back situation we have, very well could have switched up the entire scheme and primarily ran the ball.

Fair enough, but putting your faith into someone that has never taken a meaningful snap is also questionable
