If UAB can somehow win its last 7 games and crawl into the top 50 NET, that may help FAU's chances of a good seed a bit

They're in a dog fight right now at UNT…

Then again, who isn't at that place?

 :Big-Grin:

Other than that, they have MTSU (as do we) but it could happen.

Owl Notables

Vlad Goldin led Florida Atlantic in scoring for the second straight game after posting 19 points on 7-9 shooting, as the Owls took down Rice on Thursday night. Alijah Martin and Johnell Davis each added 16 points for FAU.

Streak & Record Updates

  • Most wins in a season at 23
  • Home win streak of 15 games (record 15)

Martin and Michael Forrest will look to repeat their success from their last matchup against the Bulldogs (2-3-22) where they each dropped 20 plus points, Martin with 21 and Forrest with 20. Bryan Greenlee chipped in as well with 19 points of his own.

Bulldog Notables

LA Tech is in a tie for sixth place (just one a half games back of third) in the conference standings after suffering a 66-62 loss to FIU on Thursday.  The Bulldogs committed a season-tying 23 turnovers and put the Panthers at the free throw line 28 times.

The offensive side of the ball has been a little bit of a struggle for the Bulldogs as of late. They have only cracked 70 points once in their last five games, a stretch where they shot below 40 percent from the field three times (had only done that twice in the first 19 games).

Why does every team we play as of late seem to lay an egg at FIU, then shoot the best they possibly can against us?
