Florida Atlantic Universitys football team placed five members on the 2009 All-Sun Belt Conference team and six on Phil Steeles All-Sun Belt selection. Senior Jason Harmon, a senior tight end, and sophomore Alfred Morris were honored as first team members. David Matlock, a senior offensive lineman, was the lone second team member. Defensively, Kevin Cyrille, a sophomore defensive lineman, and Marcus Bartels, a sophomore defensive back, were honorable mention selections. Phil Steeles College Football also released its Sun Belt Conference selections. First team members included both Morris and Harmon. Second team offensive honors also were extended to senior receiver Chris Bonner and third team honors was awarded to David Matlock. Defensively, Bartels earned second team honors and Josh Savidge was recognized on third team.
