2019 NOTABLES: FAU vs ODU



FAU (5-3, 3-1 C-USA) held its own against the Monarchs on Saturday. Below are our notables from their 41-3 victory.

- The Owls improved to 4-2 all-time against Old Dominion
- The 43-3 score was the most lopsided win for either opponent
- The 3 points FAU allowed was lowest since 2017 vs Bethune Cookman
- TE Harrison Bryant (photo) pulled down his first TD of 2019
- Bryant had eight total receptions for a team-high 92 yards
- K Vladamir Rivas was 2-2 in FG, and moved to 10-of-12 for 2019
- LB Caliph Brice netted his first INT as an Owl
- QB Chris Robison left the game after a first half injury
- The sophomore was 17-of-24 (70.8%) for 208 yards and two scores
- Replacement Nick Tronti was 7-of-10 for 57 yards, adding 23 rushing
- WR Deangelo Antoine's 48-yard reverse led the Owls' rushing attack
- Eight Owls combined for 159 rushing yards in total
- Deangelo also had nine catches for 69 yards
- The FAU defense had 12 TKFL, 6 sacks, 9 hurries, & 3 pass breakups
- The Owls will likely be favored in all remaining 2019 games
- The toughest game will likely be next weekend's tilt at WKU (62% WP)
