2019 NOTABLES: FAU vs MTSU



The Owls held MTSU scoreless in the second half on Saturday en route to their 4th straight win. Below are our notables from their 28-13 victory.

- FAU defeated the Blue Raiders for just the 5th time in 17 tries
- Their first NCAA FBS win was against MTSU 20-19 on the road in 2003
- LB Akileis Leroy had the 2nd blocked PAT for a score in FAU history
- DB Meiko Dotson (photo right) posted his 3rd & 4th INT's of the season
- That snapped a 96 pass streak without an INT for MTSU's Asher O'Hara
- RB Malcolm Davidson had a career long 57 yard run for a TD
- Davidson's 149 YDS on 21 carries was his 1st 100+ yard game
- The Owls shortest drive was a 3-play 68 yard score over :59
- LB Rashad Smith nabbed his 2nd INT of the year
- Smith has been key in 6 of the Owls' 2019 turnovers
- K Vladimir Rivas (37, 26) improved to 7-of-9 in FG on the season
- Opponents are just 2-of-5 in FG thus far against the Owls
- TE Harrison Bryant hauled in a team high four catches for 68 YDS
- S Da’Von Brown, S Zyon Gilbert, & Leroy netted eight tackles each
- DT Ray Ellis (3.5 sacks 2019) had two of FAU's six tackles for loss
- WR/KR Deangelo Antoine had a 48-yard kickoff return
- FAU (4-2, 2-0 C-USA) needs just two wins to claim Bowl eligibility
