He is the 2nd four star recruit that Coach Tom Herman and company have produced on the defensive side in this recruiting cycle, joining Indiana transfer defensive back Philip Dunham.

Originally signing with LSU as a key cog within their 2021 class.

He was evaluated by services to have NFL potential and also establish himself as a starter at the Power Five level.

But playing time was not up to par for the space eaters wishes in Baton Rouge.

As a result, Langston departs the Bayou State having seen time in only four contests over a three year span during which he tallied three tackles and a half a sack.

Coming out of Vanguard High School in Ocala, FL, he was a consensus four star prospect amongst of the major recruiting services and achieved a composite of .9316 from 247 Sports.

He also received official offers from SEC programs Florida and Auburn.

Langston will play tackle for the Owls, who kick-off their Spring football campaign March 11th.
