Announcing his move on Friday afternoon, Davis bids farewell to the Tigers after four seasons of play.

During his tenure, he participated in 36 games, registering 66 tackles (35 solo), 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

As one of the most seasoned players on Jackson State's roster under T.C. Taylor post-Deion Sanders' departure, Davis made significant contributions, recording 21 total tackles, including 12 solo stops, five tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks, along with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Davis stood as one of the last remaining players from the Sanders era, initially recruited by former Tigers' coach John Hendricks in 2019 and commencing play under Sanders. His presence aided JSU in clinching consecutive SWAC titles in 2021 and 2022.

A member of Jackson State's inaugural highly touted recruiting class under Sanders, Davis displayed his prowess as a true freshman in 2021, amassing 24 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hurry in 12 games.

In 2022, he contributed with 21 tackles (nine solo), 2.0 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and one forced fumble as Jackson State concluded the season with a 12-1 record, culminating in a loss to North Carolina Central in the Celebration Bowl.

Joining the Owls over the summer, Davis will be a graduate transfer while he approaches his last year of eligibility as a collegiate player.
