Farrow announced his commitment to the Owls on Wednesday afternoon, a few weeks after making his official visit on the weekend of June 14th.
"The staff is amazing from both academics to athletics, and I feel like I can grow and learn here", shared Farrow.
During his single season at Miami Norland High School, Farrow recorded impressive stats: 46 tackles (24 solo), 14 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and one fumble recovery over 11 games.
Farrow demonstrated his prowess as a reliable tackler, registering at least four tackles in six different games. One of his standout performances came against St. Brendan last November, where he contributed four solo tackles and four tackles for loss, leading his team to a dominant 55-0 victory.
Miami Norland enjoyed a stellar 2023 season with Farrow as a key defensive player, finishing with a 14-1 record and an undefeated 4-0 district record.
The team reached the championship game of the 2023 FHSAA Football State Championships for the 2M Classification but narrowly lost 28-20 to Berkeley Prep. Farrow excelled in the title game, achieving a season-high 12 tackles (four solo), showcasing his impact on the field as Miami Norland secured the fifth-best ranking in the state.
Farrow chose the Owls over offers from several FBS schools, including Tulane, USF, Maryland, Indiana, NC State, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, and Marshall. He is rated as a three-star defender by Rivals.
"I chose FAU because they have shown love from day one, and it’s feels like home", said Farrow on his decision to become an Owl. "Coach Cibene has been recruiting me hard recruiting since he got there".
He joins the Owls as the 17th member of the 2025 class, becoming the third edge defender alongside Cameron Gooden and Josh Roberts.
"I plan on bringing both my high intensity and skill set to the team next season", Farrow said. "There are already some dogs on the team, so I'm just going to have to build on that and make an impact."
Farrow's aggressive style and consistent pressure on the quarterback will fit seamlessly into FAU's defensive schemes, enhancing their pass rush and overall defensive capabilities.
