Florida Atlantic Football lands former Iowa Western DL Cam Done via transfer portal

Florida Atlantic has beefed up the defensive line through the transfer portal this offseason and that continued in the Spring period. Earlier this week former Iowa Western DL Cam Done announced he would be heading to FAU for his redshirt junior season.

The 6 ‘5 260 pound Milwaukee Wisconsin native has spent the first 2 seasons of his collegiate career at Iowa Western and this past season he played in 13 games, recording 42 total tackles and 4.5 sacks.

Coming out of Rufus King High School in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Done was rated as a 2 star per Rivals and had offers from Western Michigan and Iowa State, but opted to go the JUCO route and attend Iowa Western, where he spent the first 3 seasons of his collegiate career.

In the transfer portal, Done had received an offer from Sacramento State and committed for Spring ball, however he committed on January 1st and remained in transfer portal during the second period, ultimately committing to FAU on May 5th after a visit.

Done becomes the 10th addition overall to the defensive line room joining portal additions Enyce Sledge, Earl Miller Jr, Joe Moore, Chennelson Exume, Tyclen and Tycoolhill Luman, CJ Doggette, Naejuan Barber, Deshaun Batiste and freshman Cameron Gooden.
